help

by Uriah85

Ok so I just passed my LPN boards in April and I haven't applied for any jobs or anything. Well last sunday after the Cavs game I got a DUI. I have not gotten any of my fines and I'm still innocent because the court has not found me guilty. My question is if the court does find me guilty should i find another career or keep going to school to complete my RN. I've heard that my license will be suspended for a year and Ill have to complete AA meetings. So if you have any info that would help me out I would be thankful.

Default Re: help
You need to contact an attorney skilled/experienced in dealing with the Board of Nursing ASAP.

See www.taana.org for a nurse attorney.

I highly recommend LaTonia Wright ( ldw@nursing-esquire.com ) - she's in the Cincinnati area, but practices in OH, KY, and IN.
