cleveland clinic benefits

Would like to know how Cleveland Clinic benefits are and what is the starting pay for a PCNA?

I have heard that PCNA pay is around $9.50. If you are a nursing student, I would recommend applying to the "Nursing Associate" program which is basically a glorified PCNA and the pay rate is $12/hr and for anything after 3pm or weekend payrate is $13/hr.

Did you ever find out the answer to this question? I just interviewed today for a position, however my nurse manager was interrupted by a unit nurse so I don't know what the actual pay rate is.

I would love to know what the pay scales are as well. I see numbers listed on the job openings, however getting HR to answer the phone and/or answer is wasted energy.

In addition, does any one know if you work three 12 hour shifts, I understand that it's considered full time however do you receive health insurance benefits?

Thank you in advance for answering!

I'm not sure how much experience you have, but new nurses tend to start at $23-24 an hour with shift diff for weekenders and night shift. Yes, 3 12 hour shifts count as full time and you receive full time benefits. Benefits are really good, especially if you stick with cleveland clinic doctors and take the employee health plan.

I just interviewed for a PCA position yesterday at the Cleveland Clinic and the assistant nurse manager (who does the actual interviewing and then the nurse manager signs off on the paperwork) said she did not know off the top of her head. She said she wanted to say around $10-$11/hr but she also mentioned it depends on how much experience you have - if you have more experience you might be starting out a little higher than someone who doesn't have as much experience.

The position is called a PCNA, not PCA. PCNA stands for "Patient Care Nursing Assistant". This means you do not have to have STNA license. CCF will train you and pay for training. You receive the job IF you pass the written test and test out of the lab. It's not hard if you pay attention in class.

Start pay is about $9 to $11 depending on experience, floor, and what you are doing, plus which shift you are working.

Benefits are fantastic if you work full time. There are many many benefits to working for CCF. I love it there and would never choose to work any where else...
