Are you an RN or LPN? I think some places don't hire LPN's as much as RN's.

Have you tried applying to any long term / assisted living facilities? Some of them may be hiring. Also, you can call around to all the area hopitals and see if they are hiring LPN's. Then you can focus your attention on the one's that are. Keep trying, keep smiling, and I'm sure you'll find something

Try some online searches for "LPN Jobs in Cincinnati"

Career Builders has quite a few jobs listed HERE

Google returned over 162,000 listings that met that search query.

Good luck!

Try St. Luke East/West in NKY. I had a few classmates that were LPN's there and treated well by the RN staff. I also know that St.Elizabeth uses LPN's on the floors...

Try Drake Center. It is a LTAC( Long Term Acute Care) hospital. Go to Health Alliance website select Drake as the location then start the search. The patient ratios are not as high as it would be in a traditional SNF. good luck in your search.

I've seen LPN jobs in the paper through temp agencies. You might want to try there. Also, I've worked with LPN's during clinicals at Anderson Mercy. I don't know if they are currently hiring or if these nurses have been with Mercy for awhile. Good luck.
