Akron/Canton Nursing Programs

I was wondering if anyone may have some school suggestions for me. Im currently trying to find a decent LPN school to attend so ive looked into Akron Institute and Brown Mackie in Canton. Im not hearing good thing about neither one of those school ,so any info would be great.. Thanks

What about Kent Stark or Stark State? I don't know anyone in these programs but I'm originally from that area and they were always very popular schools with local folks.

Ive thought about those two schools ,but I was really trying to get into a community college. Do you know anything about Brown Mackie in Canton??

OMG Please don't!!! I went to brown Mackie in Akron for two months. its a joke of a school, very expensive, and theyre under provisional accreditation. PM me if you want more dirt lol.

I wont all the info that I can get on Brown Mackie so please let me know what they're about. I dont know how to send PM on this site. Im very new I just made a account today ,so im lost. If you dont mind can you go ahead and PM the info?

Canton City Schools has a program for LPN. I graduated from their program a few years ago and it was pretty good. They have a one year full time day program and a two year part-time evening program. They also have a written articulation agreement with Stark State for the Associate RN program. I am currently taking classes at Stark State to complete the LPN to RN transfer. I think that im going to go ahead and enroll at Stark State. Do you like Stark State? What is the school like? How long will it take you to become a LPN?
