Job wanted/Nurse practitioners used internationally?

Hello,

I am new to this forum. I graduate in June with my Occupational Nurse Practioner degree (hoping to survive the next 15 weeks )! That is the good news! I will be able to practice as an adult nurse practitioner....I truly love the occupational side and would prefer to stay there, but I also need some experience so general practice is an option.

The bad news...my husband just lost his entire business due to some Microsoft changes which we had invested almost all of our fortune.

So we are starting at square one....He can work almost anywhere that has a internet connection. He is a Norwegian citizen. Does anyone know if nurse practitioners are utilized worldwide? We are looking to start over, possibly outside the US.

Thank you!

Some country's use NP's and have done for a while where others either don't or are new and still finding their feet. I guess a lot will depend on where you want to work. You would then have to meet that country's requirements for RN and see if they will recognise your NP training and allow you to work as NP
