I worked nights for the last 2.5 years. I quit this past summer to stay home with my son. Unfortunately, I need to return to work. I have a final interview for a job in OB. OB is my passion, I absolutely love it.

My problem: The OB job openings is 12 hour Full time night shifts with call.

I'm trying to figure out how to make it work with daycare and sleeping. My husband could take the baby to daycare in the mornings after I work. How does everyone do it?

Specializes in ICU.

I'm divorced, but I managed to make it work with my exH. The nigths I would work, my exH would have our daughter and before he went ot work, he would drop her off at daycare and when I woke up I would pick her up. It did work.... my body just couldn't take nights anymore.

Specializes in ED, Tele, L&D.

my kids are in school/daycare while I sleep.
