He has never been able to reach organism through intercourse.
This early post (from page 1 of this thread), as well as clicking on the site listed above, has answered a nagging question that has been plaguing me for years. I now understand why some of the men I have "met" in life (okay, I haven't "met" THAT many

) who were circumcised either had difficulty having orgasm through intercourse or fellatio, but were able to bring themselves to orgasm. The uncircumcised men never had a problem.
I am personally opposed to circs. However I also recognize that it is a personal decision and I would never step in and tell a parent they are doing a bad thing by circumcising. BUT! I do also feel that most parents are quite uninformed about circumcision. I think if you choose to circ your child, you should have complete info from both sides of the coin about it, and do research. It is a surgery, on the most delicate part of his anatomy after all! Yet the majority of parents just say that "Dad is, so he should be." What a cop out. Where I work the "info" sheet we give (to the parents that get info prior to giving consent) out is from 1994 and states the APA supports circumcision. The APA hasn't supported circumcision in YEARS! Nice job we do keeping our resources up to date, huh?
I have seen some really botched circs in my day as well. And I have had seen bleeders get silver nitrated (eek!) or Bovie'd (OUCH!). The scarring that will occur later is so sad to think about.
