Just took care of OSAMA the other day in NICU..... jeez, maybe just change a letter, like OBAMA.... could save a few playground fights as this poor child gets older. Maybe by that time Barak is prez and all is fine.. but OSAMA? Could be a good conversation starter when he becomes an adult?

Harley-Davidson. Davidson is not the middle name. Mother wanted baby called Harley Davidson at all times. Don't remember the middle name, but could it be motorcycle?
I'm sorry that is just crazy. For the mother tp be so insistant, I get the feeling that for the Mom "it's all about me." Because if it were about the infant, he or she would have been named a respectable name or some variation that gives the child an option.

i took care of a little boy named cayman. pronounced like the islands. also took care of a damien. both very cute little boys.

we had a baby whose first name was damien in our nicu. it kind of scared us because of the omen and all that. well, on 6-6-06, he suddenly got very sick just before dawn and passed away before midnight. kind of freaked us out.

Okay, the lady who was in the room with me when I had my older daughter named her son Country Joe.

My hubby does social security disability and he SWEARS that he PERSONALLY has seen people named Lemonjello and Orangejello (pronounced le-mohngello and or-ahngello). I don't know.

My daughter has a friend named Orion. All I can say is that his parents were way cooler than we were!

Oh! And I took care of a lady in her 80's whose name was Lola Dimples. Can you imagine? I told her she must have been the cutest baby in the world to have been named that!!!

    Love

Oh my !!!! I was going to respond to this "survey" by mentioning a Lemonjello and Orangejello"...they were born In Connecticut (Waterbury) and none of my friends believed me until one of my friends who worked for public health and reviewed school health records saw those names listed as students!! That was years ago, the children might be 10 or 12 years old...recently at a party a nurse who works for an insurance company came across the names, so now my own husband has proof that they exist!!!!! This is too funny..I thought for sure I would say those names and no one would believe it!!!!!! LMAO...so, your husband is right!!!!!

I have heard the same story about the jello names from the wife of my best friend who works for the social security administration. I wonder if this is not an urban myth perpetuated in the SS administration, hmmmm?

I had a client once named Dufus, and witnessed the birth of a child that the mother names Gunns

As crazy as it sounds, its no urban myth created by the SS administration. They were born at the hospital I worked at. there really is a Lemonjello and Oranjello and they live in Connecticut. We even had a baby named Placenta born here!!!

...I found this name in the telephone directory while looking up a co-worker. First name of Snorella. Do you think maybe her mom was tired after childbirth?

Links??? For what? they dont have their own web pages
Hard to give proof because my info is backed up by school and insurance records which are private.. and other nurses. They arent my kids and this isnt an inquisition .Its ok if anyone doesnt believe me..its just a web board..I know it to be true, I have no reason to make it up..the only proof I can give is for you to take a good look at ALL the names here...I dont need to make this stuff up, the parents of the kids listed here have done it for us!!

Other than that, trepin, calm down. Eden wasn't jumping down your throat about this, she was just stating that due to the amount of quoted "I know this for a fact"posts on these names, she was wondering about proof.

Sheesh, people seem to be so prickly this past week.
