my brother and his wife (hippies who live in British Columbia) named their baby girl Lily (a favourite aunt of ours) Pearl (our great-grandmother's name) Moonbeam (their pet name for the baby when she was in utero) - they just sent in the birth certificate registration with all of those names on it.......

On Labor and Delivery on TLC this week a mom named her baby Isabella Lugosi. She was of course going to call her Bella.

I like that name, maybe there is something with the last name that I don't get, but I like Isabella and Bella for a nickname. In fact we are going between Isabella (Bella) and Isabelle (Belle) if we ever have another girl.

There was an obit in the local paper years ago and the child's name was Ya'Highness or something like that. If it wasn't that spelling exactly it was definitely supposed to sound like "Your Highness" and had an apostrophe in it somewhere.

    Bella Lugosi
Actually it's Bela with one L. hehehe. Neat about the TLC mom, though.

My daughter-in-law's name is Hope. My son said that if they ever have a little girl that they're going to name her Faith. He said as long as I have Hope and Faith, I'll have all I ever need in this world. I thought that was one of the sweetest things that he had ever said.

Doesn't Jermaine Jackson,of Jackson 5 bunch, have a kiddo named
"JerMagesty" ? That's pretty 'out-on-a-limb' with the creativity, I'd say.

I've heard worse..but the "Your Highness" sound-alike triggered my reply

Think of what the world's nursing homes will be full of in 50-60 years!

A woman named her baby girl Clamidia. Spelled differently but pronounced the same way. Poor kid!
