Know a set of siblings named Lance, Pierce, and Chase. Those names aren't too odd ,but if you really look at them...they are all verbs. What is is with naming boys after violent verbs? One child named that but all three? I wonder if it was done intentionally. What are their next children going to be named: Slash, Kill, Cook, and Eat

And speaking of that.. how many people do you know that give their kids all the same first letter?

One of my best friends has Michaela, Madison, Macie, Molly and Merrick. I think it's too cute but I still can't help getting them confused. Something about all the M's that makes you have to think before you speak!

As for me.. My first two babies ended up with Irish names accidentally, in the sense that we only realized they were both Irish after we had picked them (Kelsey and Sean) so when the 3rd one came I told my husband he'd better get an Irish name too. We named him Owen (which worked out as it also happens to be his paternal great grandfathers middle name). I always find it interesting to hear how people come about naming their children.

My SIL was expecting a boy (at least according to the ultrasound) and when a girl was born she had no names at all chosen. She opened up a book at the hospital and the editors name was Rachel.. bingo.
