OMG!!!!!! It is bad enough she is so young and having a baby, but to be displaying that mess in public is unheard of. Let me know if she is a patient anytime soon for the next child. Not passing judgement, but with that kind of behavior I know it won't be long before she knocked up again.
There's nothing inherently wrong with being pregnant at 15. Plenty of women get pregnant very young and do very well for themselves and the baby. Sure, plenty also turn out to be crappy moms, but age is not an automatic marker for irresponsibilty.

What you said is passing judgement.

I am entitled to my own opinion. I WAS NOT judging the young lady. What we are talking about here is her behavior with her boyfriend in the hospital!!!!!

I wonder how our MD's would react in this situation, since that's really going AMA, you know?

To me, if you are in the hospital you have got bigger things to worry about than getting some!

It is not a hotel. Good grief!!

I never said you weren't entitled to your own opinion. I said you were judging her. We all judge people from time to time, very few of us own up to it. You said "It is bad enough she is so young and having a baby..." implying that you judged her before her hospital behaviors.

Not meaning she is a bad person!!! It is bad enough but I never called her a name or anything of that sort. My opinion. Thank You!!!!!

Please, let's keep the focus on the original topic, rather than arguing back and forth, if possible.

    Thank you!

This is really gross, but one of the more experienced nurses told me that a dirty old man who was demented, masterbated with a foley cath in and you could see the results of his actions floating in the foley bag. uck!

I've heard PP nurses tell tales of women coming in with busted epis. stitches from having sex too soon. OUCH! You can't convince me that was consentual. I didn't have stitches, but even without them I didn't want my hubby near me for a while. I never realized how many women were forced by their husbands/SOs to submit to sex against their will until I worked OB.
If someone had tried to convince me to have sex right after I pushed out a 8lb 8 oz baby, there would be another damn person taking up a hospital bed. :angryfire :angryfire :angryfire

Then that nurse needed to seriously reposition that foley.... Or retake her anatomy lesson before telling tales.

Hopefully he didnt have some raging UTI with discharge that was mistaken fo semen...
