Oregon Job Outlook For LD Nurses & CNM?

I was wondering if anyone out there has any insight on the Oregon job market for LD nurses and/or CNM? I'm a massage therapist in the midst of completing my nursing pre-reqs (almost done)! I love my current job, but I know I can't do it forever and my wage is very average since I can only physically do so many massages/wk. I've always wanted to be a midwife, but I'm worried about the job outlook. It's a huge investment of $$$, time, and energy to get a master's degree as a CNM and I'd be in my late thirties by the time I'm done with school. I'm worried about debt since my husband also has HUGE college loans also. On a side note, I'm 31 and haven't started my own family yet and I'm also concerned how this much schooling, along with working, will affect me being able to start a family with my husband. I just don't want to make a foolish decision, but I also don't want to regret not furthering my education down the road...Any thoughts?...
