My friends have daughters named Keandra, Imanye (E-Mon-yay) and key-lay-uh (have no idea how she spells that one)!! Also know a Castavus (Cuh-sta-vus). Have a girl in my nursing class named Mrs. Butts. Our med-surg instructor called her "Seymore Butts" all semester!!!

Not really a strange baby name but really funny.

At work our board lists (from left to right) nurses name, patients last name and docs last name. The other day "tina" was takeing care of Mrs. "Loves" who was a patient of Dr. "Dick" I wont type it out here but it spelled out a very interesting mesage about what tina loves. Had fun with that one all day even Dr. Dick had a good luagh.

Several years ago, in Chicago. Identical twin girls:
Takisha and Tamisha. Wonder if they could even tell each other apart.

Then there is the really true story of the mom on the South side of Chicago who heard the prettiest name for her baby during her delivery and named her Placenta.
    True story:chuckle :wink2:

Unique names: I name my 3 y/o daughter Kristalise. I made it up from Christine and Elyse. It's prounounced Krista-Lease. I've received many complements on her name. It won't be found in a baby book.

Ok, here are some of the names I have run across:

    Richard Outhouse
Richard Head - and yes, he called himself Dick!
    Susan Handisides
    Jeannie Cumberger
A girl in high school named Marijuana (mom didn't speak English and though it mas like Mary Juana)

Then there is the race car driver Dick Trickle

lol, that's why I named my kids Tommy and Amanda - about as normal as can be. Though we almost made my daughter's middle name Lynn until we put it together; Amanda Lynn (a mandolin!).
