More help please :)

Okay so here's another question for anyone who has an answer.

If I want to get into a "mother/baby unit" what can I do to make myself look more qualified, even though I won't have any working experience in that area (because I would be a brand new nurse)???? Are there classes or certifications to make me more knowledgeable in this area????

Thanks

I would look for a hospital that offers an extended preceptor program for new/returning nurses in the area in which you are interested.
