money for midwife school

I would love to go to midwife school.....and I have heard that there are companies/government/who knows that will pay for midwife school if you agree to work with an underserved population after graduation. Has anyone heard of this? Where would I look? The CNM/MS program here states on their website that Parkland midwife school students do not qualify for federal grants or loans....

any ideas out there....

Also....is CNM liability insurance the same as MDs?

The National Health Service Corps has a program like this for CNMs. I can't look for their website now but if you google them you can find their site and their program. Good luck.
