Interview for L&D have not practiced L&D for 6 years

  1. 0 Hi everyone! I am looking for work and have applied for different positions, I was called yesterday by the Maternal/Child supervisor about coming in for an interview for an L&D position. I have worked for the last 6 years as a perioperative nurse in pre/op and PACU/recovery. I started out my career in Maternal child as a postpartum nurse, then L&D. It has been almost 6 years since I last did L&D. Which I did point out to the supervisor. She responded she was aware, but still wanted to interview me. My question is what should I expect in the interview, and am I crazy to consider this position if I am offered? I must say I am excited and I have always like L&D. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!
