how to get started

Does anyone have some information on how to get started in becoming a lactation consultant? How soon would you be able to work in that field after schooling? Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Default Re: how to get started
Google "IBCLC" and you can get the info on the process that is involved. There are three tracks, each one for people of difference backgrounds and experience levels. Good luck.
