I will be starting the Nursing Program in Fall, it will be a ASN program at a community college. I want to be a L&D nurse. I am trying to get a job as a Unit Clerk in L&D at one of the local hospitals here.
What courses/certifications could I take to make my chance better? I was thinking about taking a NRP certification class if I can. I am starting a CNA class "CNA's progress through nursing program faster." I have medical terminology
already. I was also thinking about volunteering at the hospital. Can anyone think of any other desirable skills for units clerks or any L&D support positions?
Thank You so much!!
