Can you be a RN with just an Associates Degree from a Tech School? If so what kind of classes do you need to take in the Tech school. How do you go on becoming a RN after the associates Degree. Please help. I just had a baby and want a future for it but a 4 yr college is out of the question. I want to work in Labor and Delivery so any info would be wonderful!!

The school you go to must have an RN program. You can not get just any Associates degree and become an RN. The classes you will need to take will be determined by the program you choose. Most require at least 2 semesters of Anatomy and Physiology, a semester of Chemistry, psychology, english, Human Growth, and your nursing courses.

You could also check into a community college. Many have 2 yr ADN programs that graduate RN's.
