Assisting with cerclage placement/removal - Policies and Procedures

I am currently working on my BSN and finishing up my last class!!!!!!! For my capstone I am volunteering to write a policy and procedure on assisting with cerclage placement and removal. As it happens, our unit does not currently have one. Would anyone want to share their facility's policy and procedure via PM so that I can see how some other facilities out there do it? I would be eternally grateful!

My hospital does not have a written policy.....and what you do depends on if it is a placement (and if it is a rescue cerclage or not) or removal and if you are are a scrub or circulator. So, I am not really sure what you are asking for.

I was looking for a written policy. I posted the same thing on the perinatal list serv. It appears that many facilities do not have a written policy. Also, they aren't really done on my unit all that much. I am pretty much just checking a block for my degree requirement. That sounds bad, I know.
