Amnio and HIV

Hello, All.

Can anybody tell me if your facility has a policy regarding whether amniocentesis is performed:

1) if a mom is HIV+, or

2) if HIV status is unknown?

I'm trying to establish what the standard is and if it varies in different parts of the country, so it would be helpful is you would indicate what region you are from.
