Hey, I just found this thread!
I just received my acceptance letter, though now I am trying to decide! No info on financial aid or what yet (plus I don't know yet if I even have the money for food/housing in NYC much less the tuition!), so we'll see.
I'm trying to debate the pros and cons!

Hi everyone,

I just got my acceptance letter today too. I'm so happy, but now I'm waiting for my financial aid package to see if I will have enough money to afford it.

Hey all!

I got into NYU too, for Spring 2010. Is there a FB page started for our cohort? I have SOO many questions, esp. since I never had a chance to visit. (How much is tuition? Are there jobs lined up for us at NYU's medical center after graduation?)

Feel free to email me. Let me know if I should start a Spring 2010 group on FB.

Just curious when everyone applied? I was contacted by someone in the admission office because they didn't receive one of my transcripts and they wanted to know when I would be finished one of my courses. Is that a good sign?

Congrats everybody!!! I got into NYU Spring Semester 2010 today too! Even though I am doing the regular 2nd degree - can I join this happy discussion as well?

Wishing everybody the best and good luck to everyone who has not heard back yet!

Of course, welcome! Not much of a discussion though...

Was wondering, did anyone get their financial aid package yet?

As far as tution:
Fall and Spring Semesters are: $18,293.00 each
Summer is: $13,000

The 18 month program is two springs, one fall and one summer, so total tution for the entire program is approximately $68,000 not including books or anything else.

Also, you are not guaranteed positions at NYU medical center after graduation but they will assist you with job placement. You might even have a slight edge over other applicants, MAYBE but other than that it's pretty much fair game for jobs.

Guiltysins is the tuition for the 18program the accelerated option or is this for the regular transfer second degree program. I applied for the transfer second degree program and want to get an idea of the cost.
