Hey

The interview was pretty basic, they would ask you why you chose nursing and what are your future plans in reference to your nursing career. It would be a plus if you have plans of pursuing you Bachelor's and Master's. They would also ask you about your current status re:job and family life and what motivates you to succeed. The Saturday class is much like the evening I believe. Evenings meet 3 nights on weekdays. We meet 2 nights during the week and Saturday mornings. We're also going to a Nursing Home in the city for clinicals. The evening class goes to one in Yonkers. But you will spend most of your clinicals at school learning your skills necessary to go into bedside nursing. About the TEAS, if you had problems with Reading Comprehension with the NET, I would suggest slowing down a little and read carefully. Make sure you understand the question fully. It's really hard to study for Reading Comprehension cause unlike Math, you cannot memorize a formula or how to do something. I suggest practice...practice...practice...with your NET review book or a TEAS reviewer...whatever you have will definitely help in preparing you for the test.

Hope this helps. Good luck =)

Saturday class goes to NYC for clinicals but just for some weeks, not for all clinical days. If you're done with all you general ed requirements, you will only go to school 2 nights on the weekdays and Saturday mornings. Most of the clinicals will be spent in the skills lab to practice your skills before we go to the patients. Saturday still finishes in two years, but you have the option to take fast track in the summer. It's basically taking the 3rd semester in the summer and finishing the degree the following Fall. I heard it's pretty intense so I'm still apprehensive about it, my second semester will probably be my deciding factor. Hope this helps =)

Congraduations! I will be seeing you there. I just got my letter letting me know that reg. is the second week in Dec. make sure you take the CPR class before Nov 28th and send them proof. You won't be able to reg. without taking that class. Also would you happen to know if they are still interviewing for the spring semester? My friend is still waiting for an interview. I also want for her to get in so bad.

I took the CPR class at BMCC. I would not like to take this class online. I think the online class might be difficult because when it come to math dosage one always have a question. Are you planning to take it online?
