Anatomy & Physiology

Hi,
I live in NYC and I am trying to take A&P I and II and Microbiology in order to apply to direct entry nurse practioner programs but I am having a hard time finding a school that offers them to non-degree students. I know a lot of CUNY schools offer them but some do not allow non-degree students to register for them or if they do your registration date is so late that all of the sections are filled by the time they allow you to register. I know these are common pre-reqs for most nuring programs so I am just wondering how people manage to take them before they have been accepted into a nursings programs. Thanks!

I had this exact same problem with CUNY too. Yes, if you're a new student or a non-degree it's tough. From the advice I got here, I took my A&P courses online with SUNY instead. Registration was a breeze and I learned a lot. Here's the link
