    Moved to the UK. Unless I remember differently or a lot has changed from working in the UK but generally the anesthetist intubates unless the nurse has ALS certificate and taught to intubate. Nurses cannot be compared to a more qualified health profession to a paramedic as roles and duties can and in a lot of cases vary
