International Nurses and UK nursing - Page 5Register Today!
- Jul 26, '12 by pinkpuffer23Sorry just curious is this program similar to NZ nursing council?
- Aug 11, '12 by marksiThanks for the informative article. Does anyone know if after completing the overseas nurses program and given a PIN by the NMC, would our RN status be considered "permanent"? Or is there any kind of probationary period involved. The reason I ask is, after receiving licensure in the UK, would a nurse who received licensure outside the EU be then entitled to apply for licensure in other EU countries?
Any responses would be helpful, Thanks.
- Aug 11, '12 by British BulldogQuote from jenxxHi,Hi! Can someone pls help me because I have an employer from UK and I need to know if this is real. He said he will process my visa and work permit in UK and from what I understand I need to pay for the work permit first so I can have my visa. Is that true? The 400 pounds work permit fee is very big for me, I don't want to waste money for that if it's fake.
This is his message:
"Listen now, on your visa application forms they required your working permit number.Mallinson will process your visa and working permit same time together.British Labour Department will approve your working permit first before issue visa.
I am your employer and i am the one who will guide you on how to procure your documents to avoid any problem. You will follow all my instruction if you are willing to work for me.I have told you all the procedures and you must comply to ensure you have all your documents on time. You are not in England and you haven't travel to Europe or England. This is England procedures. You have to secure working permit registration number first before they will approve your visa.
Hope you understand?"
I don't know if this is real or not but he doesn't sound real to me. Contact the Embassy on your own and find out for yourself.
