Always ask "Why?"

  1. My memory is horrible so by focusing on the reasons why things happen the way they do, I can lean on logic for support when I'm trying to apply knowledge. For example, I'll never have trouble remembering that Crohn's can cause malnutrition because it affects the S.I., where most nutrients are absorbed. This is especially important if you want to be a critical thinker, and not just one who is "task oriented."
