Service Learning Ideas

Hey,

I have just started my Level I of LVN.

We have just been assigned to do a Service Learning project and its due in November.

Not that I didn't have enough studying and lab time to get completed but now a service learning project????

Can someone please help me with some ideas that I could possibly work with while having a time crisis?Any suggestions would be helpful!!

Would you please explain what a Service Learning project is? I've never heard this term before. Exactly what is it and what are you supposed to do with this project? I can't help you unless I know what it is that you need help with.

what are the objectives of this service learning project? (in other words, how much time is being required per week?) have your faculty offered a list of acceptable local community service learning activities that have a contract with the school? with service learning, it is the faculty's responsibility to set up service-learning sites, develop the requirements, course objectives, and grading criteria, and monitor your learning throughout the experience. generally, community agencies are selected from a campus list of available service-learning sites and through partnerships established by faculty. your teachers, therefore, are the ones who should help you select an agency, establish a partnership with the site supervisor, and make the connection to course objectives. so, first of all, you need to consult one of your instructors for clarification and ideas. any suggestions we give you could steer you in an entirely wrong direction! :uhoh21:
