Nursing Skills like bedmaking etc

Is there a website where i can watch skills like making a bed, moving/transferring patients etc.?

In my classes we get to watch a video then practice, but usually i'm soo busy taking notes that I'm looking at my paper more than the video. So i was wondering if there was a site online somewhere that i could watch these types of videos and how these skills are properly perfomed? THANKS for any help!!

You might also consider asking if your school would allow you to review the videos they show you in class at a later time.

I was also pleased to find a different local community college nursing school (well, 1 hr away, but still) that had a great open skills lab that anyone who paid a small fee could access. It was staffed by an RN, had supplies, dummies, videos and had regular open hours so one could drop in and use their facilities as needed. I wish more of these types of centers were available!!!

check to see if the videos you were shown are available in your nursing lab or school library. also, many school libraries allow students from other schools access to their audio visual materials as well as their books and magazines because they have sharing agreements with them. talk with your librarians about this. if you are near a large university or other colleges with nursing schools you may be able to use their facilities by just going to their library and showing your student id.
