What would be a good question to ask about the nursing process?

I'm asking because I'm not sure what "nursing process" is all about.

This sounds like homework.

Tell us, what do YOU think is a good question to ask about the nursing process? =)

That's the problem we are supposed to ask a question of the nursing process that we don't understand. I am not sure what I don't know though lol.

Specializes in Peds critical care.

If you don't know what you don't know, how can you expect strangers to know?

Seems to me like you need to put a little more effort in on your part before asking others. Just my opinion.

I'm saying I don't know what to ask because I don't see anything so confusing or difficult about the nursing process to have a question about it. How about not being so rude ....if you have nothing nice to say don't say anything at all!

I also need further clarification on what that question is asking. Have you asked your teachers to clarify it?

I mean really if you have learned what ADPIE is than you just have to apply topics and diseases to the nursing process to be able to utilize and understand it because it's thinking in concepts.

Thanks for asking in a nicer way.

I have and all they have said is that we need to come up with a question as to what we do not understand regarding the nursing process for our other classmates to answer. That is all they will tell us

That is what I know, that's why its difficult for me to come up with a question.

Have you tried practising nclex questions on the nursing process? Then when you get a question wrong, formulate a question as to why you got it wrong and bring it to class!

A good one that a lot of people get caught up on is distinguishing between nursing diagnosis and medical diagnosis. Other than that, if you know it than you know it as long as you can apply it.

And also try doing a quiz over the nursing process and that should help direct you to any questions you may have.
