by calledtobeanurse Oct 16, '10I have a nursing diagnosis of Adult Failure to Thrive R/T inadequate nutrition. Is that a correct one? and I am having trouble coming up with short term and long term goals. I know they have to be patient specific, but I am drawing a blank. any help will be appreciated. thanks.

- Oct 17, '10 by KeeperMomSorry, but we aren't going to do your homework for you.
You need to look through the Care Plans sticky at the top of the Student forums and see where it gets you. Then post what you have and we can help you further.
Your diagnosis is one of the easiest to work through. Maybe you are over thinking it a little bit. Read through your texts and a good care plan book and see where it takes you. - Oct 17, '10 by PneumothoraxQuote from calledtobeanursedo you have a nursing dx reference manual? that may help you..I have a nursing diagnosis of Adult Failure to Thrive R/T inadequate nutrition. - Oct 19, '10 by calledtobeanurseThanks, I do have one and have been looking. Found a few things to work with. The hardest part is our instructor did not explain a care plan to us very well before assigning us one to do. So I'm sorry I'm a little lost.
