I'm graduating next month. I'm interviewing for a New Grad position at an ICU in a wonderful facility. This is my top choice for a job position, and I sooo would LOVE to work here.

What are my chances of getting hired if I reschedule my interview because I'm sick? If anyone has advice or stories to share, please let me know.

I feel like crying because there's nothing I can do about it. I'm coughing up a storm, sniffling, and to make it worse, I lost my voice over the weekend.

Please help! :crying2::crying2::crying2:

I would say call as soon as possible- explain that you are ill. They should understand- and I would think they would be glad to escape exposure to your illness.

Good Luck.

I would call and explain the situation, and OFFER to reschedule. If they want you to go in anyway, I'd go. It's not a good look to call in sick - what are they going to think about you as an employee?
