I need ur help.. What should b done by lpn if her buddy rn gv her injection of 10 mg morphine to gv it subcutaneously to Patient. Few frnds told me dat it shud b givn acc. To weight. I jz wana know if buddy RN said give the patient stat 10 mg morphine SC. What shud lpn suppose to do?? Gv it or not??

Agree this is difficult to decipher. What did the order say? (No nurse should give a non emergent med on another nurse's say so without seeing a valid MD order).

Sorry for that.. I read a question if buddy RN said to Lpn to give stat morphine 10 mg SC.. What should be the course of action by LPN.??

I am preparing for my lpn. But i got my answer. Lpn should refuse to give injection and check doctors order first.. Thank you everyone
