I need some help with legal terms in relation to nursing care and how they relate to enrolled nurses. They are:

- Vicarious liability

- Informed consent

- Advocacy

- Defamation

THIS post is totally asking for your hw to be done for you. These are definitions, these are legal terms that are not just in nursing but in every profession. Use Google. Use a dictionary. Use your nursing texts.

Our goal he on allnurses is to help you become the best nurse you can be. Developing research skills is as important as learning how to take blood pressure or listen to a patients lungs. I am sure your text has information on these terms. If not a simple Google search will reveal a on information.

Nurses do not need to know everything but they do need to know how to find it. You are half way through your program I would hope you know something about research.

Look up the definitions..tell us what they are then we can discuss ho they affect nursing.

Are you in the US/Canada as enrolled nurse is not a title/level of licensure here? The definition applicable to North American nurses may not be consistent with your country's legal standards, which is an issue with posting your assignment queries on a international public message board.

If you are in Australia, perhaps a look at APHRA or ANMAC websites for practice guidelines. I believe the information is online
