    I have an assignment for a class on writing a letter to a politician about a nursing issue. I have come up with a lot of information about rn/patient ratios, but wanted to see what others think are the big issues in nursing. Thanks in advance for any information.

    We get this request regularly. The best source for this would be your state nursing association. They have a legislative action committee (all RNs) that are well-versed in all the issues they are lobbying legislators about. They would be thrilled to hear from you. You can probably also get their periodic newsletter, and will find info there. Last, the AJN has a column on this every month. Library.
