I start my lpn course in August

I've been reading through some of the posts, and I have to say I'm getting very scared. Math had never been my strong suit, but I got by just fine with the math and physics needed in radiology, but this seems different; much more complicated. I've been trying to memorize the metric system, as far as conversions to mL and grams and cc's.. but there's just so much to absorb. Seeing I was already an RAD student, I already have most of my classes needed (english 111, psychology, microbiology, anp, anpII, advanced physiology, interpersonal communications, MAT 110 and 111)...but I still need to complete another English elective, abnormal psyche, and an advanced geometery class...EEK! Of course I'll start the fund. nursing first, and then ever so often they'll test us for our math skills for dosing and metric converting. This is what I'm freaking out over! Any advice would be sooooo appreciated! I wasted 4 years of my life on this radiology junk...I feel like I took one step forward and now 10 steps back. My two kids are counting on me..I can't let them down. I need this!

You are doing the right things so far. You definitely need to know your conversions for the drug calc exams. If you know those then you can't go wrong. Good luck and keep us posted. Time will go by soooo fast !!!
