How do you cite a course using APA?

For example, do you just add this: "... from my Health Assessment course (University of Florida)."

I tried Googling it, and I really can't seem to find the answer to my question. THANKS!!!

Have you tried looking on Purdue OWL? They might have it on their website...

is the course really a reference? I would think the presenter would be the reference, or the textbook from which the data was retrieved.

^ yep, I would either cite the textbook or a "personal communication" from the instructor. Check the perdue APA format site.

Purdue isn't really helping me. :(

And yeah, it really is a COURSE.

I use PERRLA.com It's $34.95 a year and worth every single penny! You type and it automatically formats your paper, your title page and your bibiography page with all the reference. It has made my life so much easier. I don't mind doing research papers because I do learn from them but gees the APA format is a terror!

This is correct. Whatever your reason for citing the course, someone wrote the material you are using, and that would be the source. It could be an instructor, and author, or a guest speaker (personal communication, but the course is just a forum for information.
