I'm taking Nutrition class right now and I don't know how to add up my total kcal/day as far as % wise.
With the grams, do you just add the total grams you consumed for the day?
how do you figure out the %?? Like for instance, how do I know i'm consuming enough fats (20-30%/day)?
I have a project to do and I have to evaluate if I'm eating enough or too much of proteins, fats, carbs and cal.

Well if you were on a 2000 cal/day diet and you wanted 20% of your diet to be composed of fats you'd just take "2000 x .20 = 400 (calories a day)" And remember that in terms of grams when it comes to fats there are 9 cal/gm and 4 cal/gm for proteins and carbohydrates. So "400 cal/9 = 44.4gm (grams a day)"
