hello,

i am almost done with my first clinical rotation, and have learned a lot thus far. however i am looking for software to use along with all my other "skyscape" applications to primarily focus on clinical. ex: i would like to see a program/software that describes an "ostomy" and proper care, bandages to use, pt. teaching, what we nurses should be aware of. i would also like the software to include "wounds, and wound care,along with dressing changes, such as wet to dry, and etc. i would also like basic info. on topics such as "making an occupied bed," how to empty a foley, or emptying a "jp drain," and proper technique. i have found that once getting to the hospital, some days are overwhelming and it would be nice to take a quick glace at certain procedures, and nursing skills. does anyone know any software suitable for the ipod touch that fits the above description?

try searching under youtbe for the various topics. More often then not, the topics you are looking for are there for viewing.
