Which stethoscope to buy

I started out with a Sprague and absolutely hated it, it broke after only 4 months. I've heard other classmates with Littman's say a lot of good things and recommend that I get one. Most of my classmates either have the Littman Lightweight II S.E. or the Littman Classic II S.E.. Being a nursing student I don't really have a lot of money to spend, so is there really much of a difference between the two besides price?

Kila Labs and GRX Medical both have really good, decently priced scopes. I suggest the Kila Labs single head, personally, but I could see myself buying any of them if I needed another.

The lightweight has an acoustical rating of 5 while the classic II S.E. has an acoustical rating of 7, which may not seem like a lot but in my opinion it is. I have a classic II S.E. and I LOVE IT - It's a little more expensive but definitely worth every penny.

I say spring for the Classic II S.E. as well. I'm a student too and I really like it.
