soon to be GN and might get a electronic stethoscope

I will be graduating in May of this year. My parents are wanting to buy me a graduation gift so I am asking for a stethoscope. I am currently looking at the Littmann 3000 (the model above that is above my needs). I am currently applying for jobs, and all. My dream is Pedi ER (the hospital i'm applying it has one). If i'm unable to get that I don't mind go Adult ER/ICU.Would this one work for Pedi? Is there any other electronic ones I should consider?
