Also, I'll wash my leather sneakers (all my sneakers for that mater) right in the washing machine. I've never had a pair get ruined in the washer.
yes, they are so worth the money. I have worn the same pair for the last 2 years and my feet never hurt in them. And they look very cool with every outfit, you can even go for a jog after work .

I'm in Connecticut and our prices are usually much higher than other states but I got one pair (leather) for $105 in like a Footlocker type store, another pair I got on clearance for $45 (fabric) in a high end shoe store and one other at $95 (kids size) at the same high end shoe store. On the actual Nike site I believe they range in price from high 80's all the way up to $125+

if you wear them 8-10 hours a day forty hours a week, they are no longer doing their job for your feet after 2 years

In nursing school I bought a pair of all white birkenstocks that did not have a sling back as we had to have a full shoe. I'm not sure if they still make them but they are all enclosed. Now I wear crocs all the time and just throw them in the washer LOL

[quote=Hopefull2009;2113504There used to be a product called "Nurse-White"...it had a baby on one side (for baby shoes) and a pic of a Nurse on the other...it removed not only the black scuff marks, but got them to a brilliant white.[/quote]

It's still available. "Sani-white." I use it.

Maybe I am crazy but I bought some crocs for clinical (the one's with no holes) and they were comfy for awhile then I noticed that my feet and legs began to ache. It got to the point that I could not stand to where them anymore. I am yet to find THE pair of shoes.

I think I am going to get a pair of these MBT's:

http://www.walkerswarehouse.com/stor..._Code=brand_wm

They are really expensive and look kind of dorky, however, they are supposed to be excellent for your feet, knees, and back, while also giving your legs and core a workout! I figure that I won't have much time at all to work out once I start school, so I'll take my exercise where I can get it.

They don't have that particular style at Zappos.com, but they do have lots of consumer reviews of other styles, and people seem to really love them.

jspacegirl, I would really, really recommend that you buy a regular shoe and avoid giving your body any extra working out while working. You have no idea yet how exhausting it is all by its lonesome, let alone adding work-out shoes to the mix!

I like a good pair of Nikes. I haven't been working since the crocs craze came about, but I will probably get some of those when I return.
