I went to shoebuy.com and ordered several top end pairs .Drew, Rockports, and New balance. They let you try them and return without a restocking fee. Very easy to get a return shipping label also. I would definately use them again for any shoes. I found the Rockports to be a true fit for my foot and the most comfortable. I had a pair of Rockports mountian trail shoes for 10 years still look new. The Drew was big and bulky (big foot) but it really had a lot of "sole". New were ok, but I think the Rockports felt the best.

Birkenstock or Think! - my feet feel sad when I actually have to take them off after a 14 hour shift. No break in time with either brand. Totally worth the money.

I wear Crocs around the house. There is not enough arch support for me to wear them to work.
