That is what I thought as well but just wasnt sure as to what they mean as minimal emblems. So would just the logo of the brand of shoe be ok?????? That is where I was not 100% sure on.

Minimal = not big. They do not want big coloured swooshes all over the shoe, for example. It should be quite clear if you look at pics of shoes which ones have "minimal" logos/branding.

Go to zappos.com, you can search athletic shoes, then white, then "nursing" and get several with minimal branding, like this:

Have seen male nurses wearing Nike Shox with their scrubs, looks sharp and they are also comfy (of course, comfy can be relative since everyone has different feet needs).

I found that pic online. The name of this style is Nike Shox Deliver. If you Google to the images you can usually find they link to store listings.

Here is a good link for choices!

would you recommend clogs that cover all of your feet including your heel, or clogs that have a strap on the back? I am looking at buying the anywear shoes however I heard they do not breathe well so I was not sure if the fully covered shoe would be a good or bad idea.. any suggestions? Thank you (:

I know this answer is a bit late, but you might want to check with your school on that one. All ours said in print was "white shoes." Someone asked, during orientation, if open-back or sling-back shoes would be okay, and she was told no. All schools have different requirements, so if you're considering sling backs I would ask first if I were you.

Find a running store.
Have them watch you walk on their treadmill with the tape recorder
HAve them recommend the best fitting shoe to stabilize your foot to the manner in which you personally need it most.
This 'fixed' my plantar fascitis without surgery. They feel better than EVER. Its worth the extra cash to find the 'perfect' pair of shoes for you. Even better? After you find your fit you always know what type to look for
