Shoes

Hey ladies and gents,

I am in the market for some new shoes. I know everyone's feet are different, but was curious - what do you all love? I have to wear orthotics in them, so I don't know if crocs work or not (plus I'm pretty sure we aren't supposed to wear those anyway).

Thanks for your thoughts!

There's actually an entire forum devoted to this subject area...

But personally, I like to wear crocs because they're comfy and loose (I don't like the feeling of tight tennis shoes for 12 hours)

I am a nursing student and we are not allowed to wear Crocs. If we were, however, those would probably be my choice of shoe. As of now, I wear Birkenstocks. Birkenstock is a very pricey brand but it lasts forever if you avoid water. I've had mine for a year now and they are still perfect. However, a downfall to these shoes are they take a bit to break in. They are made of high quality leather and the sole is a cork material that forms to your foot shape. The Birkenstock style I have are called 'London' and they come in white if that is required. The other downfall is the price but like I said, they last!

I hope this helps!
