I read somewhere about diabetic socks to increase circulation in the legs. Is this true also?

I don't use any particular brand name, but I find that if the sock has a little cushion on the bottom, thinner top for breathability, and extra support around the arch they are usually pretty good. I got some from Walmart, made by Danskin that I love, I also have some by Addidas that I like. I have never tried Thorlo so I really can't comment on those.

Does the Thorolos socks go over your calf? I need cotton socks, allergic to wool.

Thanks for asking these questions.

OK, go to your local Modells store and look for running socks. Work great!! They are very soft and you feel like you are walking on the mattress!

LOVE thorlos ex perlas, not thick ( I get too hot!) but have great cushioning, not too bulky with danskos, they are ankle + I will wear support hose-hth!

Ok, you need thin cotton socks and you will need a pair of Dansko shoes. When you do make this purchase, make sure your foot is moving freely in the clog and it shouldn't be snug. Think of it like wearing slippers. But the sock needs to be thin or else you will suffer.
Another advice: Prepare to have a life change as soon as you enter this horrible nursing education. They will break you down to the point of crying in the bathroom and wishing you were not breathing. If you can afford picking a different degree into the medical field, go for Physician Assistant. I hope this helped
