hard to tell what would work best for you everyone is so different. I have been wearing Birkenstocks for the last 15 years. They are wonderful for me. I wear the clog and have the cork replaced when needed. I paid $105 for the shoes and pay about $50 to have the bottoms redone. I have two pair that I trade off with.

I too was a New Balance fan for a long time, but after working three 12's in a row for a few months me feet and legs couldn't take any more! So I went in search of a new pair that would give me the support I need. I bought a pair of Asics, cost me $130 and worth every penny!! My feet and legs no longer ache after a long weekend. It's amazing, I will never buy any other kind ever again!
