First, never purchase shoes for work that need to be broken in. If they are not quite comfortable from the moment that you put them on, you are only going to have issues with them and quite a few. There are so many different brands out there, that this should not be necessary.
And if they are skinning your feet, then they are not the correct size or fit for your foot. And they are not going to get better.
It is one thing to have to get used to a certain heel or something like that as far as height, but never if they are rubbing your feet from the first time that you put them on.
