uniform and shoes help!

by pe5322

I am trying to buy a decent uniform and shoes for clinical labs!!! but I do want to buy something that's less ugly than usual. My school is requiring every item to be in white and the shoes have to be in plain leather.

Can you recommend me what's really nice brand for uniform and shoes? I need more help on shoes, so please comment anytime!!!! thank you!! happy new year !!

We also have to wear white.
I have cherokee pants, they are less see-through, and fit rather nicely.
Their tops I assume would be also, but our tops must be button down, more of a uniform type style so we can't wear scrub tops. I don't know the brand of tops I have, the only one that didn't look too awful and fit lol.

Thank goodness our color is purple! Though I look like a little purple stick walking around in the scrubs LOL!

Since you have to wear white, make sure to have nude-colored bras and underwear!

As for shoes, I bought a pair of Dansko Professional clogs; they're pure white...at least until somebody pukes/poops/bleeds on them

Kind of OT but how come our school makes us buy 2 ugly white scrub outfits already mongrammed with the school's name? You all seem to have so much latitude with outfits, I am extremely jealous!!!

I like the Landau brand of scrubs they are basic, mid price, wash up well and very comfy. I have a pair of slip on leather Keds, got them online for less than 30 bucks.

I have found the ABSOLUTE BEST clinical shoe I own (and now I have 2 pair of them) is the wash and wear slip on by Propet. They run about $50, but they are wonderfully comfortable from the first time you put them on. There is no 'break in' period required. They are as comfortable as any pair of slippers I own. They come in a variety of colors, including all white and they are leather (my school also requires all white leather shoes).

Here is a link so you can check them out - they are $45 on this website.

Good luck!

I too have Landau white scrubs. I started with Cherokee and then picked up a set of Landau easy fit at the local scrub store out of necessity and I LOVE them. Albeit, they are a little thinner than the Cherokee but 100% more comfortable and (for my umm...full figure lol) better fitting. I wear Nike Airs that I love as well. All white, look like a big stay-puff marshmallow.

And ditto the nude color undergarments.

I wear Dickies scrubs (in navy) and they are super comfortable and pretty affordable imo. As for shoes, I love NurseMates!

I LOVE Urbane scrubs, I have worn all the other brands available and Urbane is it for me for now on. They fit low-mid waist and roomy legs, tops are great too. Worth every penny!
