by Spika RN Jan 7So recently the hospital I work at decided to go to 3 colors only for nurses to wear male and female alike to help patients and family identify nurses easier, by the way they still think I am a doctor most of the time.
So here are the colors white (tradtion I under stand that no problem) black ( very depressing color and I work in the cancer unit ) and turquoise ( I dunno about any other guys but I would never wear this it was red but our DON didn't like red so she changed it) also we can wear any combination of the 3 colors together. I can't wear white because of black body hair so I am stuck all black all the time anyone have anything they want to add I just needed to vent a bit

And there's some cute black and white print scrub tops. And you could get white thick tights to go under white pants for the winter at least. I would mix up these three colors as much as you can. I am sure when all is said and done you probably will never want to wear turquoise again, but there are many shades of turquoise.....

I wasn't going to say this but the only straight guy I've ever seen at our hospital where it was married so you going when they can get away with itI would get a black long sleeve shirt to go under turquoise scrubs, a turquoise long sleeve shirt to go under a white top and black bottoms.....a white scrub jacket to wear with all black.
